Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) - procedure for

Invocation of guarantee and preferment of claim

Please refer to our Circular No.57 / 2009 - 10 dated November 05, 2009 wherein, inter-alia, Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) were advised to indicate the date on which the account was classified as NPA. It is observed that the information is not being indicated by some of the MLIs. MLIs are, therefore, requested to update the information of NPA details as on March 31, 2010 (using the following option in our online system) on or before June 30, 2010.
